She often felt out of place in the law firm until she (and others) realized what a great communicator she was because she was calm and collected. She tells a great story about a time when she wasn't sure how to respond in a specific situation and her silence actually helped calmed everyone down. (Sorry for the delay in responding. It's been a busy weekend.)Meghan Carverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12171644527417702921noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2676691386361883927.post-41367525780037089472013-05-17T16:56:45.708-04:002013-05-17T16:56:45.708-04:00Welcome, Meghan. I'm wondering if that's unusual for a lawyer?Kathryn Page Camphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03458122715766846442noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2676691386361883927.post-43546037549075380702013-05-16T22:51:06.258-04:002013-05-16T22:51:06.258-04:00Thank you, Darren.Thank you, Darren.Meghan Carverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12171644527417702921noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2676691386361883927.post-70342959470398591202013-05-16T22:50:48.853-04:002013-05-16T22:50:48.853-04:00I have heard of ambiverts, and that's an inter...I have heard of ambiverts, and that's an interesting notion. It makes me wonder if all of us are ambiverts to some extent. Very seldom are we all or nothing of anything. I've read it said this way: "Some days you're a snail stuck inside its shell, some days you're a dolphin with stories to tell."<br /><br />"You speak elaborately when a topic of interest comes up, go back to being quiet for 30 minutes, and impulsively ask someone a random question that just came to your mind and would like to hear input."<br /><br />Great book review!Karla Akinshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16989639592455525499noreply@blogger.com
